Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who was as a captain and a participant for the Fierce Five team in 2012 as well as 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she took gold both on the floor for the team and in individual competitions. Bronze was taken with her balance bar. She became one of the very first American gymnast in the Olympics to win the most medals. At the 2016 Olympics she was awarded an Olympic gold medal in the team event that earned her and teammate Gabby Douglas the honor of having being among the few Americans to win back-to-back team golds. Her silver medals came in the floor-based individual and all-around event. Following the 2nd Olympics the gymnast stopped for three years gymnastics. She also was part of gold-winning American squads at two World Championships. She began learning gymnastics at the age of two and her favourite event is floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group in honor of her late grandma. She hopes to become fashion-forward and increase the line of socks and leotards in the coming years. She is writing a book titled Fierce that will be released at the end of this year.
